Experience

Sue is the founding Director of Simple OHS Solutions and has worked in occupational health and safety and rehabilitation and for the past 10 years. She is also a fully qualified and admitted lawyer specialising in occupational health and safety law. She previously worked for WorkSafe Victoria to bring about significant changes in the waste industry and the public sector, including education, aged care, health and local government on issues such as occupational stress and violence. She has significant experience in OHS systems development, stakeholder and project management. Sue also has experience in case management and policy development in workers compensation.

Key Achievements

• Simple OHS Solutions project managed a $200K WorkSafe funded in the Plastics Industry.  The project achieved improvement in OHS standards within the participating employers and was delivered on time and under budget
• Ensuring the implementation of mechanical systems of waste collection across Victoria
• Undertaking development of comprehensive but simple OHS systems for medium sized employers.
• Current committee member of the Victorian Division of the Safety Institute of Australia.
