Simple Safety Schedule 

Let SOS guide you through the steps you need to take to manage OHS and meet legislative obligations in the Simple Safety Schedule. You should now have your OHS Policy in place. Now you need a plan for the year ahead to achieve the aims and objectives of your policy.

The plan should be documented and set out:

  • What you want to achieve for the year
  • How the actions required to get your desired result
  • Who is responsible for completing the actions
  • When you aim to have it completed by

·      One toolbox talk per week in each dept – documented on the toolbox talk form

Identify and control hazards

You will need to identify the expenditure associated with implementing the plan so you can develop an OHS Budget. Expenditure may include:
  • Training (providers and downtime of workers)
  • Printing/Promotions
  • Specialist providers
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Audiometric testing
The plan should be regularly monitored to ensure the actions are being completed.
